How to use it: To compare Tableau against another BI platform just hold the control key down, select the platforms you want to compare, slide the page control left to 2010 and click through.

ReplyDeleteThere are a few companies besides Tableau I find interesting. Jaspersoft just made a big leap forward, as did Panorama. (I know the latter was called out by Stephen Few for having really well-designed heat maps.) Have any of you used those tools? Meanwhile the "big BI" companies like Microstrategy, IBM, Oracle, all moved down and left about the same amount. That might be Gartner recallibrating the BI rankings?
